Expert Witness
Robert Schraeder is a registered professional civil engineer (License No. 47814) and has extensive experience as a Project Manager on multidiscipline $500 million design-build projects. For the past 30 years, he has filled both the role of prime designer and prime contractor. Robert is technically adept with the project standards, design requirements, specifications and plans. In addition, he is extremely familiar with the various types of contracts that owners use on large, complex projects.
As a prime contractor, he has written position merit papers for Dispute Review Boards and successfully presented the papers to win disputes, so he brings valuable experience to drafting and presenting expert reports.
Robert has served as an expert witness on several past conflicts involving quality assurance, the appropriate coordination between the prime contractor and designers in final design and procurement, and the proper roles of the prime contractor and subcontractors.
